As part of its development and strong growth, Xdigit is strengthening its design team.
As a Physical Implementation Engineer, you will be responsible for all or part of the physical implementation of blocks or complete circuits.
You will report directly to the CTO.

Main missions
- Realize circuits from RTL to GDSII with the expected level of performance: surface area, speed, power consumption.
- Establish timing constraints in collaboration with the RTL code designer and circuit architect.
- Execute design placement, optimization, clock tree synthesis and routing (floorplan, placement, routing).
- Define and implement DfT (Design For Test) on digital or top partitions, up to the generation and verification of test models for the industrial test program.
- Perform Sign Off checks (Power, Timing, DRC & LVS).
- Carry out all circuit validation steps up to GDSII generation.
Skills
- Engineering degree, Master's or PhD in digital circuit design and evaluation.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in physical implementation, routing placement.
- Knowledge of DFT and STA.
- Ability to set up a design flow for complex circuits.
- Experience of block implementation on technology nodes ranging from 130nm to 22nm and IP floorplanning.
- Proficiency in TCL and ideally Python.
- Knowledge of ICC (Synopsys), Innovus (Cadence), PrimeTime, Design Compiler, Tessent, etc.
- Good level of English required for communication with suppliers and customers.
