Main tasks
As a Layout Engineer, you will be responsible for an exciting and versatile assignment that will require your comprehensive understanding of the design of different schematic blocks, in order to provide a clean and fully verified Layout :
- Work in close collaboration and team spirit with various designers
- Layout complex mixed and analog circuits
- Review and analyze floorplans with circuit designers to plan work and negotiate all cost/area/quality trade-offs
- Execute the full set of design verification tools available for each block.
- Interpret verification reports, in particular: LVS, ERC, DRC, ANT, in order to complete work.
- Take account of circuit assembly and packaging constraints.
- Participate in setting up training courses and a design flow.
Skills
Do you have a 5-year degree in engineering or a university masters?
Do you have initial experience in analog layout and would like to expand your knowledge in this field?

Skills required:
- Team spirit
- Knowledge of advanced CMOS technologies (Bulk, FDSOI, FinFet)
- Mastery of a modern CAD tool, ideally Virtuoso Layout XL from Cadence
- proficiency in a modern suite of LVS, ERC, DRC and ANT verification tools, ideally Calibre from Mentor and PVS from Cadence
- Knowledge of the different aspects of layout (matching, current mirrors, differential pairs, differential signals, noise, etc.)
- Know how to manage IR-drop, RC-delay, electromigration, cross-talking, etc.
- Be at ease in a mixed Linux/windows environment
- At ease with technical English
